The Second Day of the Build

Happy Days, the main digger driver – Mark has found shale about 2 meters down in the area we want to have a lake.

We will use this for the majority of the road. This will be a huge advantage for us as we :-

  • Will use the natural resources of our site
  • Will protect the existing lane to the main road by fewer heavy lorries delivery stone
  • Will not have to pay so much for the stone
  • Will not have to haul the stone from off site - The Quary is miles away
